Thirty years after the gods reduced Tokyo to rubble, survivors strive to answer a seemingly impossible question: how do you kill a god? In a world where entire cities are deemed uninhabitable danger zones, Anti-God researcher Sachiyuki Tokinaga leads efforts to find a way to defeat the divine threats and save humanity. When Tokinaga encounters high schooler Waka Kamikura, their paths cross in a mission with world-changing stakes. Tokinaga has already brokered a tentative peace with the snake god, but the danger is far from over. Waka is seized by a god named Volov, who claims to be a former friend of the snake god, hinting that a deeper history and possible ties to Waka’s ally Shion may influence the gods’ estrangement.

The story unfolds against a backdrop of marked danger and fragile alliances, where human courage meets cosmic power and the fate of the world could hinge on unlikely partnerships and difficult choices.
