Alex got two presents for his 13th birthday: a rugby ball and a whale bone carving from his grandmother. But nothing from his father - yet again. Nothing in the thirteen years of his life. Alex's life is suddenly turned upside-down when he is transported back in time and finds himself mixed up in a French plot to blow up the Rainbow Warrior - the flagship of the environmental group Greenpeace.
