American Monetary Policy Adjustment and Its Impacts

This book reviews the historical evolution of U.S. monetary policy, and then uses various methods such as mathematical models and econometric analysis to study the impact of U.S. monetary policy adjustments on the domestic economy and the spillover effects on the world economy. Liu Weiping, born in Changsha, Hunan province, is a researcher with China Develo­pment Bank. He holds a Ph.D. in law from the Department of Sociology, Tsinghua University, presides over Professor John L. Thornton’s Global Leadership Program, and holds a M.A. in management; he holds a Ph.D. in economics and a B.A. from and is a dual-employed professor of law and economics at the Department of World Economics, Wuhan University; he is a visiting scholar and researcher at the MIT Sloan School of Management and School of History.
