Deep down within Under-Earth live the Faithful of Ro`eh. Akni is trying to earn his place as a full-fledged adult. He fails, due to the dangerous mornaghs. Akni must go to extreme lengths to succeed. Deep within the caves of Under-Earth lives a people, cut off from Over-Earth: the Faithful of Ro`eh. Akni is trying to earn his place as a full-fledged adult. However, in a fight with an enormous unknown beast, he loses the diamond he needs to do so. He goes to extreme lengths to succeed anyway. Meanwhile, the community is desperately trying to cope with the threat of the mornaghs.
