Still one of the best-selling live albums of all time, Peter Frampton's Frampton Comes Alive! offered an electrifying document of one of British rock's all-time greatest guitarists. Having risen through the ranks of the cult freakbeat group The Herd and Steve Marriott's post-Small Faces outfit Humble Pie in the late 60s and early 70s, Frampton embarked on a solo career that would make him - and his trusty talk box - a household name in 1976.
