COVID TIMES (Inspirations)Shirley Sacks, an artist and writer, made hundreds of watercolor and ink drawings during the first months of the Covid Shutdown. It was as if that nasty virus floating around the whole world, causing havoc and pain, said, "At least, if you have to stay put, create!" And so Shirley did. In this book you will find a selection of her Covid Art. She also decided to find out what others thought about the Virus and asked people to contribute a quote. Many did immediately; many more had to be nagged; and many seemed daunted by the task of writing a few words. Those who did answer Shirley's request are quoted in this book. Surprisingly most thoughts were not grave. To those whose friends or family member did not survive the pandemic, Shirley extends heartfelt condolences. To those who escaped the virus completely ... lucky you! To those, like Shirley who thought they wouldn't succumb and finally did, Shirley joined the ranks of the majority. She said, "I have never felt so sick in my life," and this after taking the meds that meant to speed up the recovery.
