Cyrus Skinner Catch the Spider

Young German girl and her uncle leave Germany in 1939 and travel to America via Mexico. The story jumps forward to 1993 when Christine, nicknamed "Spider," learns her original travel documents may become public, and could expose her real identity as the person who killed her mother. The woman uses all her resources to avoid detection by the local Sheriff and the regional crime task force, perpetrating more murders and exposing young women to more harm in the process. After tracking down her traitorous stepbrother, Charles Halbach, Christine learns the location of her passport, and in the process finds the location of long-hidden gold in rural Missouri!
