Deliver Us From Evil

Eight escaped convicts plus two women are bound for Mexico. They must change vehicles. They plan to hijack a large enough vehicle to transport everyone. A church group from Tennessee becomes the victim. The gang hijacks the van, but the church group refuses to go, so they are kidnapped and expendable. The conflict between the two groups is the story. Will the church escape? Will the convicts make it to Mexico? Will the church group's faith pull them through? The adventures of the four days answer the story.The gang has conflicts within it. The woman leader rules the gang. She goes to great lengths to ensure her success, even if it involves killing doubters. The church group endures many hardships, such as crossing a river at night, operating on wounds without medical equipment, looking for water and food, and escaping the gang. They find out that their God does deliver them from evil.
