Featherdark

Imagine a world that exists alongside our own, but unseen by most. It's a savage and wondrous world, where fantastic creatures and places abound and sorcery is the ultimate power. And it's also really silly. When Shannon Glasspoole enters a little antique shop on an ordinary street, she meets George-Anne Featherdark, a sorceress who involves her in a series of adventures filled with danger, excitement, tragedy, and romance. Not only does this ruin her day, but it turns her life completely upside-down. To make matters worse, she falls in love. In a world created by wizards, where tribes of Goblins tramp about irresponsibly, Teddy bears wage war with creatures that violate the rules of geometry, and a sea-side town celebrates a yearly festival centered around a massive mollusk, relationships are more difficult than one would imagine.
