The present book, "Green Nanotechnology: The Role of Piper betle in Sustainable Nanoparticle Synthesis," highlights the remarkable potential of Piper betle - often referred to as the "neglected green gold of India" - as a natural source for the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles. Piper betle has long been cherished in traditional medicine, particularly in Ayurveda, for its diverse therapeutic properties. This book explores its untapped potential in the field of green nanotechnology.This work is the culmination of extensive research evaluating the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using Piper betle leaf extracts through environmentally friendly methods. It presents the characterization, biological activities, and potential biomedical applications of these green-synthesized nanoparticles, including antibacterial, antifungal, antidiabetic, and anticancer therapies.
