This issue of HIMALAYA gathers fieldwork-driven scholarship and interpretive insight from across the Himalayan region, spanning Nepal, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, and the uplands of Northeast India. The articles trace ritual performance, conservation work, historical memory, and aesthetic form, while grappling with the layered realities of caste, movement, and statecraft.
