Kukadumaku

When I wrote my first poem in Hindi about four years ago, I had not even thought that one day writing would be an important work of my life and I would also write a book. But when the controller has to get some work done from someone, he gets that work done from him. The result of this is this Surjapuri poetry book "Kukdumkoon" in your hands. The crowing of a cock in "Kukdumkoon" is a symbol of sunrise. Today, through folk songs, cinema, Muktak, reel, novel, Surjapuri language and literature is crowing like a cock in its infancy and indicating its awakening, while for the author of this book (me) also this first solo "poetry collection" is the dawn of his literary life. This itself proves the significance of the name of this book. "Kukdumkoon" is a Surjapuri poetry book. Surjapuri language is the spoken language of the ancient Surjapur Pargana which is spoken in a large area of ¿¿Bengal and Nepal including Kishanganj district.
