Landing Among the Stars

Seeking excitement and glamour, Josie Frankel enlists in the Army Nurse Corps. Assigned to Tripler General Hospital in the tropical paradise of Hawaii, she finds exactly what she is looking for. She loves her job, makes new friends, and has more opportunities for romance than she can fit in. One fateful evening two men enter her life. One is Army engineer Hamilton Hale. The other is Navy pilot Jake Bishop. Both are handsome and charming, but Josie is having too much fun to think about falling in love with anybody. Then the bombing of Pearl Harbor plunges the country into WWII. As the war turns all of their lives upside down, Josie's future becomes inextricably tied to both men. Set over the course of World War II, this is a story of love and loss, mistakes and forgiveness, and, ultimately, the resiliency of the human spirit.
