Manto (full name Saadat Hasan Manto) was a writer par excellence of the Indian subcontinent. He was famous for his bold stories. He was admired for his realism, his psychological insight, his far-sightedness, his bold and daring truth-telling, his attack on the monopolists of politics, society and religion. Includes bitter but witty humor and his witty puns. Muzaffer Ali Syed was a critic as well as a Pakistani writer who penned many of his friend's and his senior's pen sketches that were included in his book "Yadon ki Sargam".
