With ease, she thwarts an attempt to nab an afternoon snack before it's ready. They must try something cleverer. But her shield is still there, and she avoids the attempt yet again. Maybe her shield is like an astronaut suit, or like feathers, or like bubble wrap? But in moments of need, that shield always falls in time for mum to scoop them up into her arms. This book was written inspired by the author’s own children and written as a fun activity with them. While the tricks are a bit silly, it carries an important message about family and the bond between mother and children.
