Our thoughts must evolve with time. Life remains balanced only when we move forward in step with the world around us. At a time when the world is appreciating our dharma, if we ourselves forget it, a sense of emptiness grows within us. To walk the path of progress as Indians, we must put patriotism above religion and caste.It is time we stop viewing the Bhagavad Gita as something only to be read near death and instead begin to embrace it as a guide for life. With the belief that poetry can serve both the nation and righteousness, I have written this book.It is a reflection of my journey-as a doctor, a teacher, a leader, and a public servant.
