This book introduces a new area of research known as "translator's posture". The pedagogical framework is grounded in an original conceptual exploration of translation constraints, leading to an ecologically inspired perspective on translation affordances. The sociological aspect draws on the notion of authorial posture in sociology of literature. The book also presents the action research data collection from a translation theory module in a Hong Kong University, supporting the integration of postural learning into curricula.
