Perspective is a mind twisting collection of poems to open the mind and alternate views of different situations. Imagine watching a movie in a theater, by the end of the movie everyone can have a different account of the main character, the villain and even the love interest. Perspective, does just that, taking each account and letting you experience another way of looking at the same thing. Perspective is not a collection of light topic poems. Perspective, dives into the world we live in. The world we experience every day we walk out of our doors. Topics of divorce and child abandonment, suicide and love, police brutality and criminal activity. As stated before, every situation can be seen in a multitude of ways. Perspective takes the situation and gives voice and imagery with every account. Take each moment to engross yourself within the words of every poem. Perspective does not come with apologies but acceptance. Challenges to daily experiences and hardships many of us deal with. To give light to the ones silenced or misunderstood. Knowing that someone's story has been written not to break you down, but build you up knowing you are not alone.
