Bol The bilingual book "Psoetry" contains original Russian lyrics by Psoy Korolenko with their English versions by Daniel Kahn, Mike Lion, J. Martin Daughtry and Stuart Goldberg, as well as Psoy Korolenko's Russian versions of songs by Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Daniel Kahn and John Boutte¿ together with English originals of their lyrics.Psoy Korolenko (Pavel Lion) - singer-songwriter, transla- tor, columnist, scholar, Ph.D. in Russian literature. On stage since 1997, released more than 20 albums solo or in collaboration and several books of selected essays, lyrics, and translations. He created a unique type of folk-cabaret, integrating styles and traditions of various cultures (Sovi- et popular and folk song, French chanson, Klezmer, Tropi- calia) particularly through multilingualism, translations and "tra-daptations''. Former artist in residence at Trinity College (Hartford), University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), Dickinson College (Carlisle). He is one of the organizers of Russian American festival JetLAG, which sees its mis- sion as bridging uniquely between languages, cultures,generations and tastes. Recording Academy voting mem- ber. Participant of international projects such as "Brothers Nazaroff", "Defesa", "Yiddish Glory". In 2019, "Yiddish Glory'' was nominated to Grammy and became the Fiddler On The Roof Awardee from Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia as a cultural event of the year.
