Regional Development and the High Tech Industry

In several countries, the creation of technology parks has been growing, with the aim of reproducing the right conditions for the development of innovations, which are so necessary for the sustainability and competitiveness of companies and nations. In Santa Maria - RS/Brazil, a new technology park is being built. It is therefore necessary for society to turn its attention to the success of this venture, making efforts to contribute to its success. In view of this, the problem of this research is to investigate how the dynamics of the local and regional market in Santa Maria can influence the performance of technology-based companies set up in this enterprise.
