Riding and Roadcraft

Despite everyone's efforts, road traffic accidents involving equines continue to be a hazard faced by all who ride. The BHS continues to research means by which we can lessen these incidents. Ever increasing traffice, in particular large lorries, makes the task more daunting - which is why it is vitally important that EVERY rider reads this volume thoroughly and heeds the advice given, so that we can continue to enjoy our riding. It must be remembered that most of us cannot ride without some roadwork.
