De kabelverbinder bestaat uit in totaal 5 kunststof onderdelen (1 x RJ45 koppeling, 2 x behuizing en 2 x schroefdop) en 4 ringen. De afdichtring bij het doorvoergat van de behuizing sluit af tussen kabel en behuizing. Deze kan aan de zijkant worden geopend om de kabel in te kunnen steken. De twee schroefdraden direct op de RJ45-koppeling worden elk beschermd door een siliconen afdichtring.
