Star Wars The Force Unleashed is een nieuw verhaal in de Star Wars saga en speelt zich af tussen de verhaallijnen van de films Episode III en Episode IV. De speler komt vele nieuwe dingen te weten over het Star Wars-universum. Het verhaal gaat over een kleine jongen waarin de Force sterk aanwezig is. Darth Vader merkt hem op en leidt de jongen op tot een Sith, een meester in de Dark Site van de Force. Als je volwassen bent ga je er op uit om je meester te helpen met het uitroeien van de Jedi. Bijzonder aan Star Wars The Force Unleashed is dat 'The Force' centraal staat en door de uitstekende physics engine werkt dit beter dan ook. Je kunt objecten en zelfs vijanden laten zweven en naar je toe trekken of van je afduwen zonder ze aan te raken. Tevens heb je de de beschikking over elektrische stroomstoten en ook het Light Saber kan uiteraard niet ontbreken. Met prachtige graphics, een heel intelligent physics systeem en een verhaal met plot twists die prima passen in de de stijl van de Star Wars films is dit een game die de Star Wars fan en filmfanaat niet mag missen!
