This volume contains a personal account of Susanna Heron's award-winning commissions for public spaces. She completed three site-specific works between 1994 and 1997 for the European Union in Brussels, the British Embassy in Dublin and Hackney Community College in London. This text describes the artist's creative process and her collaboration with artists. The book is a photographic account incorporating texts which investigate the experience of landscape and sense of place.
