Her investigation into the body she and her companions found in Australia brought her to France and a grieving mother. Daisuke and the beautiful half-demon Jinx, meanwhile, are working a different angle, as they track down the offices of Explorer's Inc. A chance encounter with a demon puts them on the trail of an old enemy of Daisuke's. An enemy seeking to become as near to a god as a man can get. The race is on to stop a deadly foe from gaining the power of an elder demon. If Daisuke and his friend don't win the race, it will mean Hell on Earth.
