The book is an encyclopedia of the American founding and the people who lived it. The whole purpose is for the study of the Constitutional period, offering the reader a place to look up founders and their contemporaries to ascertain a clearer understanding of the people and the events themselves. This places a general understanding in one source. This is an impartial study of the men who lived it.
