The series follows a young boy's journey from late elementary school to high school as he unexpectedly becomes the assistant to Professor Jackson Skye, an African American former military street psychologist. Through Professor Skye's unconventional methods, the boy is pushed to develop problem-solving skills that not only help him navigate his own challenges but also assist others he encounters along the way.
