The Longstock Chronicles

It covers the time that the hippie movement changed back to the land movement in the early 1970's. Louie moved north to Canada and built his own house off the grid with the river as the main transportation. Having to deal with the cold winters and the river almost everyday, Louie makes a life for himself, and his family. The story is about life in the Canadian bush with many other colorful characters and situations.
