It's 2024 and Alex has a job at a global tech firm. She's glad she can support herself, but she misses her pre-pandemic life when her husband was alive and she was a musician playing the Seattle scene. Her workload doesn't leave any time for music or romantic relationships. As much as her soul is dying from not performing, she can't afford to be reckless and abandon her paycheck. Something has to change. She can't live this sad but stable life. She wants fulfillment. She wants love.
