In this whimsical look at the most important accessory of men's fashion, Marc Sola! has created 30 portraits of ties and imagined who their owners would be. The styles of these different ties represent the trends of the day and humorously correspond to the key characters of our modern world. Stories behind the ties: Thomas-- I love this tie more than any other. My son, Valentin, gave it to me for Father's Day. Jerome-- It sounds stupid, but I like this tie because I stole it from a big department store. For me it's a souvenir of that adventure. Ludovic-- Almost all of my ties were given to me as presents, for my birthday, Christmas or some other holiday. But this one, I chose myself. It's the one I wear most often. Henry-- I only have one tie. I keep it as a souvenir but I never wear it. I keep it in case I have to wear a tie one day.
