This volume presents a wide-ranging selection of Jewish theological responses to the Holocaust. Included are rarely studied responses that were written while the Holocaust was happening. Each section of the book is prefaced by an introduction that contextualizes the material and explains what is distinctive about it. Biographies of the authors are also supplied.
