A Curse Upon Two Houses: Blood and Moonlight: Retelling of Romeo Juliet: 3

Two houses. Two hungers. A peace that one spark will burn to ash.For longer than the mortals in it will ever guess, Verona has belonged to the Montagues and the Capulets - and to the thing each house is, and hides. They do not feud over an old insult. Wolves and colder things cannot share one city forever, and each is certain that the night the world learns monsters are real, it will be the other that lit the match. Then Romeo Montague meets Juliet Capulet, and wants the one thing that could set all of Verona alight. You know how this story is meant to end. You do not know this Verona, where the star-crossed lovers are the children of monsters, and where two houses have hidden what they are for so long that neither remembers how the other one lives - or dies. Some secrets a house will kill to keep. One of them is sleeping. It will not sleep long.*A gothic retelling of Romeo and Juliet.*
