A Leap Of Faith - Inspirations

Maye was born in England 1965 at 1200 hours within the Motown, Pop, Rock and Roll, Jazz, Punk Rock, Blues, music era and when Top of the Pops the local TV show featuring various musical artists and modern influences within the local community. Maye was the second oldest child , first born in England of 6 children. Maye have 4 children now ( 1 daughter and 3 sons) and two grandchildren. Maye places her personal life in many challenges and would like to inspire women around the world, with similar challenges.Maye enjoyed sporting activities and athletics from an early age and from the age of 16 years Maye worked for various organizations, namely the National Westminster bank, West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive, National Health Service and West Midlands Police service over a long period of time. Maye also did some voluntary work within the local church such as being a chief usher , working in Evangelist committee and also worked as a Support Worker in the care industry.Maye has faced in her personal life many physical and mental health challenges. Even though Maye, faced these challenges this did not stop her from achieving her goals. Maye has travelled overseas and has had a few life experiences that she has relayed somewhat in this book of poems. Maye enjoys arts and crafts, such as painting, knitting, sewing, embroidery and of course writing. Maye has interests in the political arena which she will pursue later on. Maye hope this book of poems will be enjoyed by all and be an inspiration.
