A Little Off Key

A Little Off Key features fifty original songs written over a period of thirty-plus years. The songs are written from several perspectives including a father, a son, and a doctor. The songs in A Little Off Key are about life, loss, luck, loneliness, dogs, cats, birds and even goldfish. And of course, relationships . . . and religion . . . and evolution . . . and creation . . . and eternity . . . and family . . . and getting old . . . and . . . lots of other stuff. Author Brian Elliott has never been a good enough singer or guitar player to be recruited by another band-so he started his own. The Little Off Key Band (motto: "We may not be very good, but at least we don't know many songs.") can be found playing for free, mostly at animal rescue centers and retirement homes.
