A Most Gentlemanly Gunslinger

In the lawless Dustlands, reputation can kill faster than a bullet.Montgomery Lee is a gentleman gunfighter with polished manners, a silver pocket watch, and a deadly past he cannot outride. Accompanied by a towering pacifist ex-prizefighter, a sarcastic laudanum-soaked doctor, and an angry miniature gunslinger who dresses exactly like him, Montgomery wanders the western frontier righting wrongs, exposing corruption, and trying - with mixed success - to remain civilised. From prison towns and poisoned settlements to stolen water rights, buried war gold, and the ruins of forgotten battlefields, the company rides through a Dustlands filled with crooked judges, bounty hunters, conmen, barons, and ghosts of old wars. But as whispers spread across the frontier, Montgomery's name begins drawing the attention of powerful enemies - including Captain Elias Blackstone, a charming outlaw officer with ambitions of his own, and Nathaniel Crowe, the legendary gunman who once taught Montgomery everything he knows.Part spaghetti western, part swashbuckling adventure, and part darkly comic frontier tale, A Most Gentlemanly Gunslinger is a collection of twelve interconnected stories filled with gunfights, wit, danger, strange friendships, and the long hard road between justice and revenge. In the Dustlands, even good men carry loaded guns.
