A Nalanda Mahavihara

A two-volume study detailing excavations at this large Roman fort in north-western Hungary. The first volume contains details of the excavations themselves-the defences, consisting of ditches, ramparts, gates and towers and the headquarter's building, including its structural sequence and timber buildings in its vicinity. There follows a catalogue of the finds. In the second volume there is evaluation and discussion of the finds and the plates.
