A New Kind of War

This work explores the Truman administration's involvement in the civil war in Greece in the aftermath of World War II. America's fear of Soviet world domination resulted in the establishment of an American military presence on Greek soil and regular arms shipments as part of a containment policy. In the aftermath of the Second World War, civil war erupted in Greece between Western-orientated government forces and Communist rebels.
