A Norseman's Dream

Raised to be a Norse warrior and carry on the legacy of his ancestors, Erik Erikson found he carried a different dream. The land of Alba, full of green fields and untouched forests, beckoned him to a new life for his family. Erik's great passion for the adventure ahead drew others to his cause and they sailed for Alba. Once there, they discover that the Gaelic people of Dal Riata, the western kingdom of Alba, have not taken kindly to the years of raids and the desecration of their monasteries. The God of the Christians is stronger than Erik believed and he finds his people under attack from those who worship the Nailed God. Realizing too late that his ambitions were foolish and selfish, Erik is forced to choose between his dream and those he loves. Are the gods punishing him for leaving Norway, or are they forging him into the leader he never wanted to be?
