A Spy By Any Other Name

Jacob was a quiet man, lived alone, kept himself to himself, no friends, no family. On a Saturday, he helped out at the local church hall working with lonely people looking for company. Outwardly an unremarkable man, except he held a secret. From Monday to Friday, Jacob worked at MI6 as an IT Support Executive helping the great and the good with any computer problems they might have. He was very good at this and was often requested by the most senior personnel, especially Sir Stephen De Mille who was destined, so they say, for the very top job. Jacob was efficient, quiet and faceless, a backroom boy mostly ignored to just get on with the job. However, there was a problem. Jacob, like so many others, had joined MI6 with dreams of becoming a field agent. In his mind, a super spy, but his dreams had been crushed, laughed at and he was told in no uncertain terms that IT was where his path lay and not to concern himself with any other position. Without knowing it that day, MI6 had made a huge mistake. You see, you don't destroy someone's dreams and then given them open access to computers that hold the secrets of the realm. Jacob is about to give MI6 a lesson in spying they won't forget.
