This book explores the role of agripreneurship as a sustainable strategy for enhancing and potentially doubling farmers' income in Kerala. Agriculture in the state faces several challenges, including fragmented landholdings, labour shortages, climate change, market uncertainties, and declining profitability. The study examines how farmers who have transformed themselves into agripreneurs are overcoming these challenges through innovation, value addition, technology adoption, market-oriented production, and diversified business models. The research is based on a comprehensive survey of 328 agripreneurs across all fourteen districts of Kerala. Using advanced statistical tools and empirical analysis, the study evaluates the socio-economic characteristics of agripreneurs, income changes, employment generation, technology adoption, marketing practices, sustainability initiatives, and the major constraints affecting enterprise growth. The findings reveal that agripreneurship significantly improves income levels, market access, productivity, asset creation, and livelihood security.
