A Thanksgiving Tale: Wholesome Family Horror

The turkey's are revolting! When Amelia joined her Uncle John's family on a Nebraska farm, she expected an unexciting life and prepared herself to contribute a lot of hard work. What she didn't expect was an uncanny young cousin or a step-aunt who separates herself from the children and farm work every moment she can. Add to this a ghostly grandmother who plays pranks on Uncle John's second wife and Amelia's new life quickly becomes anything but normal. A trip out to a turkey farm to choose a bird for Thanksgiving dinner takes Amelia into an inexplicable state of affairs when the turkeys turn on the humans who would have them for dinner and begin to bite back! With tongue firmly in cheek and a nod to Daphne duMaurier's The Birds, A Thanksgiving Tale takes the reader into a bizarre and horrifying world where a holiday dinner turns the tables and dinner might just stage a revolt.
