And we are back with the 2nd iteration. This time, there's a kind of chaos that doesn't destroy, but it rearranges you instead. That's the territory of this second collection... a mind in motion, never quite settled, swinging between faith and fury, tenderness and exhaustion, without apologizing for any of it. If the first book was a confession, this one is closer to a reckoning, the same raw nerve, but older now, having survived a few more storms and learned to laugh at some of them along the way.These poems don't try to resolve anything neatly. They sit with contradiction because that's where most of us actually live. Praying one moment and questioning everything the next, loving someone fiercely while resenting how much that love costs, finding a strange comfort in small ordinary things right after staring straight into despair. There's anger in here too, the kind that comes from caring too much about a world that often doesn't deserve it, and there's gratitude that shows up in the most unexpected places.What hasn't changed is the refusal to perform any of this for effect. Nothing is dressed up to sound poetic for its own sake. The pain reads like pain, the longing reads like longing, and when something funny or absurd slips through, it's because that's honestly how survival tends to feel from the inside, messy and occasionally ridiculous even at its heaviest.This collection was written without shortcuts, by hand, by heart, fueled mostly by stubbornness. It's rougher in places than the first book, and maybe a little more honest for it.
