A Way of Listening: 1

Hear, O Reader: A Way of Listening is an invitation to slow down. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Shema-Hear, O Israel, and the gentle call of the prophet Micah, this book offers a quiet path of faith shaped not by certainty, but by attention. Through listening, remembering, loving, attending, teaching, and walking faithfully, readers are invited to discover how faith is formed over time-in ordinary days and steady return.Written in a warm, narrative voice, A Way of Listening introduces figures from the Christian tradition not as authorities to master, but as companions who learned holiness through patience, kindness, and presence. Each chapter creates space for reflection and silence, asking not what you know, but who you are becoming. This book is for those who carry questions gently, for those who love God more easily than they can explain Him, and for anyone seeking a faith that can be lived humbly and faithfully over a lifetime.
