A Worm's Eye View... the recycling history of world

Worms have been around since the days of the dinosaurs... eating their way through piles of giant, steamy dung heaps and turning it into worm poo - Nature's fertiliser. Sounds easy ... but was it? Worms and the planet came under attack when humans, built mega cities, developed industries and fell in love with chemical fertilisers and poison sprays. And yet, worms have survived... This book charts the worm's role and progress in a fun and memorable story. From prehistory, through Cleopatra's love, Aristotle's philosophy, Darwin's research, the Chemical Age, up until today when, believe it or not, worms are dining in 5 star restaurants and holidaying in 5 star resorts. Enjoy the story; laugh at the illustrations and learn more about the role of worms through the ages and how important these little wrigglers continue to be for the health of our planet.
