Aam Zindagi

Ramprasad. The early days. A rift with his family, cast out of his own home. A harsh, grinding middle age. A household tangled in conflict, locked in constant skirmish with Lajwanti, until life itself begins to feel like a battlefield.Lajwanti. The keeper of the household since childhood. No comfort in her early years; and in youth, she lives as though death has already claimed her. Her blood boils, yet the question of womanhood shackles her rage.Kashi. Born of the world's many vices, a thorn in the sight of his own parents. His character carries the promise of the future, while his present lies buried beneath the follies of adolescence.Tulsi. About whom little has ever been openly said. Yet, like a reservoir that appears tranquil upon the surface, something within her is always moving - currents unseen, waiting to reveal themselves. And around them is a world that may feel strangely familiar: families bound by blood yet divided by resentment; love negotiating with pride; poverty standing beside dreams; tradition wrestling with change; and ordinary people carrying extraordinary burdens.Aam Zindagi is a journey through family, love, conflict, society, humour and human weakness - a story in which the extraordinary hides inside the ordinary.Furthermore, you will encounter characters here who have surely stepped out of your own life.Perhaps, you may even see your own reflection in their faces.
