Abstract Words Are Vitamins

Abstract Words Are Vitamins is a reflective and experimental poetry collection that explores the power, playfulness, and complexity of language. Through abstract verse, rhythmic wordplay, and philosophical musings, Anthony Peter Prior examines themes of identity, mental struggle, creativity, morality, freedom, love, society, and self-discovery.The poems move fluidly between nonsense and sense, chaos and order, mirroring the way thoughts form and reform in the mind. Language is treated as nourishment - "vitamins" for thought - suggesting that words sustain emotional, intellectual, and psychological life. The collection embraces abstraction as a method of understanding reality, showing how meaning can emerge from confusion, fragmentation, and introspection.Overall, the book is an introspective journey through abstract thinking, personal growth, and the search for clarity in a complex world.
