Ad Perpetuam: Book 2 of the Sojourner Saga

Three years after she nearly died at the hands of a monster wearing a man's face, Kimberly Holly has finally rebuilt something like a normal life - a father to care for, a good man who treats her well, a past she's convinced herself to call trauma instead of truth. She's cut ties with the strange, devoted people who saved her. She wants, more than anything, to forget. But the Other was never destroyed - only exiled to the Void, and the Void could not hold it forever. Free again and hunting for a vessel strong enough to carry it back into the world, it finds what it's looking for half a world away, in a young woman in Osaka with no conscience left to fight it. As Detective Anne Richards chases a case that refuses to stay closed, and Aaron Stiles, Indira Singh, and Mwele Botu feel the old signs stirring again, Kimberly is about to learn that the thing she survived isn't finished with her - and that this time, it isn't only her own life on the line. The sequel to Ad Infinitum continues the battle between the Sojourners and the ancient evil that will stop at nothing to live again.
