When Tara Silverthorne catches her husband with donuts in places donuts should never be, her twenty-year marriage implodes faster than a botched soufflé. Fleeing her suburban life for a trendy Richmond apartment, forty-two-year-old Tara thinks the hardest part of starting over will be learning to parallel park. She's wrong. Landing a job at a high-end shoe company introduces her to torturous designer heels and her charming French boss, who's still nursing a decades-old crush.
