During lockdown, Sue Rose began learning Hebrew and, as she became fascinated by the etymology of the letters, this sequence responding to the 22 Hebrew letters took shape, taking her deeper into the symbolism of each letter. The result is a playful and investigative meditation on language, meaning and sound, and a celebration of the cultural heritage that the poet grew up within and alongside.
