In 2006, Jasper Morrison designed the Pots&Pans cookware set for Alessi. The goal of this third series of pans designed for Alessi was ambitious: it had to measure up to the copper/stainless steel pan series La Cintura di Orione, designed by Sapper - a series of top quality, but also an expensive set that falls under the exclusive Officina Alessi. Additionally, it had to measure up to the Mami cookware set designed by Giovannoni. All of this at a significantly lower price, without compromising on design, quality, and functionality. Jasper Morrison has more than succeeded.
